Renew Your Certification!
As a Professional Nurse Aide, you are required to meet the recertification requirements established by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). DADS requires recertification every two years. In addition, as of September 1, 2013 DADS requires nurse aides to provide proof of twenty four hours of acquired continuing education relative to Geriatric Nursing.
