Web Classes for Kids

Students will learn how to build simple web pages and publish them on the Web in the first class. In the follow up classes they will learn how to make their pages fun, how to include professional looking images and make pages interactive. Computer Applications for Kids

Math Academy Courses for Kids, grades 3-9

Fun, engaging courses are available for students at RRISD in June and July (Westwood High School and Great Oaks Elementary) and at the ACC Round Rock Campus in June. Students in incoming 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8-9th grades will attend one week or two week academies (Middle School) to get ahead for next year's classroom. Academy courses are designed for students who want to excel in math, meeting higher level objectives and building a stronger achievement in mathematics. Building on basic mathematics concepts, students will use critical thinking skills to go beyond application and analysis and create a solution to a given mathematical problem.
