ACC student receives Hermes Creative Award

Amy Fowler completed Continuing Education's Webmaster Certificate Program in the fall semester 2013 and received a Gold Hermes Creative Award for her Capstone "Louisiana Budget Project".

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, graphic design shops, production companies, web and digital creators and freelancers.

The competition is one of the largest of its kind in the world. The winners range from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies who compete in areas of advertising, publications, design, photography, website design, social media, and many others. Hermes entrants are not charged entry fees for work they produced pro bono.

The competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The Association began in 1995 as a means to honor outstanding achievement and service to the communication profession.
