Wireless networking is a hot topic. Learn how wireless devices make connections, how the connections actually work, and how you can plan, deploy, and connect to wireless networks yourself. Prerequisite: ITNW 5028 Introduction to Networking or equivalent experience.
In-depth coverage of the structure and function of the human body. Includes cell structure and function, tissues, body organization, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. Emphasizes homeostasis/wellness care. Meets the minimum 75-contact-hour requirement for Anatomy and Physiology for licensure.
Whether you like to arrange flowers at home, or are interested in becoming a professional floral designer, this course will give you an introduction to the art of Floral Design. Students will learn tools, mechanics, elements, and principles of design, as well as cut flower identification, care, and handling. Students will make basic floral arrangements, which they will be able to take home.
This course is designed to introduce students to the different forms of writing styles within business and the importance of planning, writing, revising, and editing business messages. Students seeking this course should be able to demonstrate fundamental computer skills and working knowledge of all Microsoft 2013 applications, and demonstrate knowledge of basic parts of speech and punctuation. This course is geared toward supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
