Course Description

This is a fast paced course that will prepare experienced Linux administrators to pass the EX300 RHCE certification exam from Red Hat. This class leverages knowledge learned in the RHCSA Prep Course and will take your Linux skills to the next level. Through lecture, demonstration, and hands on practice you will learn how to configure RHEL7 and compatible Linux distributions to offer file sharing, mail, web, and database services, how to write shell scripts to automate administration tasks, and many more advanced Linux administration skills. The course is taught by an instructor with more than 20 years of Linux experience.
The required text is the “Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE 7 Cert Guide: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (EX200 and EX300)” by Sander van Vugt (ISBN-10: 0-7897-5405-3). See and for a complete list of required skills and details about the certification exams. Prerequisite is working knowledge of computers, basic TCP/IP networking, and at least one year experience with Linux is required. An active RHCSA certification and/or completion of CPMT 1078 and/or CPMT 1077 or similar are recommended but not required.
