Basic Japanese Language & Japanese Fine Arts
The course is designed to introduce students to basic Japanese language, as well as the ancient of art forms, such ukiyo-e (woodblock paintings), calligraphy, origami folding, and haiku poem that are characteristics of traditional Japanese culture. Beginning Italian
Taught by a native Italian that recently moved to Texas! Students will learn the basics of the Italian language, while also exploring Italian life, traditions, news, food and of course some of the cliches' that are so funny!

Conversational French I
Taught by a native speaker, students in this class will learn the basics of the French language. Experience a new language for travel and personal enrichment. Text Required: French: A Self Teaching Guide, 2nd Edition by Suzanne Hershfield-Haims.

Conversational French II
Taught by a native speaker, students in this class will expend on what they have learned in Conversational French I as well as deepen their understanding of French culture. Text Required: French: A Self Teaching Guide, 2nd Edition by Suzanne Hershfield-Haims.

Conversational French III
This course is a continuation of Beginners French II and is for students with some background with the French language. Text Required: French: A Self Teaching Guide, 2nd Edition by Suzanne Hershfield-Haims.

Conversational French IV
Discussion group. This class is designed for people who would like to speak. Come practice your French on subjects such as travel, cultural differences, food or the news.

Conversational German I
Designed for those with little or no background in German, this introduces the spoken language to prepare travelers, practice getting a room in the hotel, greeting people, and making inquiries. You will also learn how to read basic German text.

Conversational German II
A continuation of German I, this course emphasizes new vocabulary through participation and dialogue. You may also sign up if you have basic knowledge of the German language.

Conversational Italian I
Taught by a native speaker, experience a new language and culture for travel and personal enrichment. Learn to communicate with basic conversations. This course will help students develop better listening to real conversations, practice in speaking, and focus on correct pronunciation. Course for beginners. No prerequisite. Conversational Russian I
This is an Elementary Russian course intended for adult beginners in Russian. The course gives the student a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of Russian. This course will prepare students for regular every day communication in the Russian language.

Conversational Spanish I
Promotes speaking and listening skills for personal needs. Requires no knowledge of Spanish. Develops basic vocabulary and simple language structures. Text required: Open Door to Spanish, Level 1, Madrigal, 3rd Edition (Lessons 1-10).

Conversational Spanish II
Continues design of Level I to assist you in communicating simply in Spanish. Focus is on activities: using verbs from past to future. Text required: Open Door to Spanish, Level 1, Madrigal, 3rd Edition (Lessons 11-20).

Conversational Spanish III
Conduct simple conversations in Spanish with focus on verb forms. Text required: Open Door to Spanish, Level 2, Madrigal, 3rd Edition.

Conversational Spanish IV
Continues text of Level 3 and includes more complex structures, including how to give instructions to others.

Conversational Turkish I
Conversational Turkish I is an introductory course designed to develop listening, speaking, writing and reading skills while building a solid background in grammar and vocabulary. Our objective is to get familiar with Turkish sounding and obtain necessary vocabulary for higher levels. Conversational Turkish II
This course is designed for students who excelled in Turkish 1 level. Students will continue to develop proficiency in the four modalities of language learning: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In minimally structured yet culturally contextualized situations, students will begin to use the language practically and creatively to make inquiries, gather information, and express opinions....

French for Travelers
Students learn the basics of the French language in order to be able to enjoy a vacation in France.

Italian for Travelers
Learn the basics to help you navigate tourist attractions, restaurants, transportation and shopping.

Urdu I - Basic Speaking, Reading, and Writing
This is an introductory Urdu language course to teach basic speaking, reading and writing skills of Pakistan national language, which is the most popular communicational language of India and other neighbor countries as well. The relevant culture and manners, as a part of this course, makes it more interesting.
