Course Description

Photography and the digital aspects can be a bit intimidating but we will make it as simple as possible. We will cover basic camera operation and controls and we will familiarize ourselves with the technical and aesthetic process of making photographs. There will be several in class projects and critique to learn from each other. A point-and shoot camera will work, a camera with manual controls will give the best opportunity for learning how to get the desired results.
