The ACC bootcamp covers Full stack Javascript Software, Git, and many more technologies.
In order to get prepared for the Bootcamp, ACC is offering a Bootcamp Prep Course. In this prep course, you will work on essential computer and math skills. This 2 week long course will help navigate the rigor of the Bootcamp.
Bootcamp Prep Course includes:
-Familiarity with web technologies: HTML
-Simple programming concepts using online gaming environments like MIT Scratch
-Use of computer tools including: Linux Command Line, Git/Github, Visual Studio Code
-Familiarity with your computer's operating system, including Windows 10, Windows Subsystem Linux and Mac OSX
-Refresh of basic math and logic skills that would help you get ready for a career in technology
A survey of dances from different cultures, their histories, and their influences on contemporary dance and society. Cultural origins, significance, motivations and techniques will be explored experientially. No previous dance experience necessary. Integrated with credit DANC-1305. Continuation of GERM 1411 with more advanced conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. This course fosters deeper understanding of German-speaking people through cultural comparison and development of written and spoken communication. Students must have completed a first semester college German course of at least four semester hours with a grade of C or better, or have equivalent credit by examination.
Instruction in dance performance through experiential projects at the freshman level. Students will rehearse and perform dance works choreographed by dance faculty and/or guest artists. Introduction to WWW Authoring, HTML, and CSS

This course will focus on the use of the World Wide Web (WWW) and the creation of a home page. Web browsers, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are discussed. Students get hands-on experience building simple web pages with hypertext links, graphics, and CSS. Includes an overview of techniques that enhance and facilitate page creation. Suggested prerequisites: familiarity with computers and browsing the internet.
A general study of textiles with emphasis on factors that affect the hand, appearance, and performance in clothing use. Examination of the properties of natural and man-made fibers, how yarn is formed, methods of production, and the properties of a variety of fabrics. A continuation of Massage Therapy Fundamentals I. Emphasizes specialized techniques and assessment of client needs to identify a specific plan of care. Completes the requirements for Massage Techniques for licensure. Prerequisite: MSSG 1011/1411: Massage Therapy Fundamentals I Instruction in the theory and the skills necessary to perform the Clinical Massage Therapy to a varying population using a variety of clinical skills to meet TDLR requirements for licensure as a Massage Therapist Prerequisite; MSSG-1011, MSSG-1013.
