This course includes a variety of exercises focusing on increasing cardio-respiratory endurance as well as improving muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. Movements set to music may include interval and circuit training, high and/or low impact movements, body sculpting, slide, cardio-dance, step aerobics and boot-camp style training. Adding Static and Dynamic Cupping for Myofascial Release...
This 6 hour Continuing Education course will provide an in-depth look at the use of cupping as a myofascial release technique that can be incorporated in the practice of massage therapy. Demonstration and practice will be provided on the use of silicon and plastic cupping, dynamic vs. static cupping, technique, cup care and maintenance as well as how to talk to your clients about cupping for their therapeutic needs. A take home silicon set of 8 cups is included in the tuition. Students need to bring a set of massage sheets, lubricant and note taking supplies to class. Tables and cups will be provided.

Identify case studies about the global economy and current events for developing personal leadership skills.
A continuation of Massage Therapy Fundamentals I. Emphasizes specialized techniques and assessment of client needs to identify a specific plan of care. Completes the requirements for Massage Techniques for licensure. Prerequisite: MSSG 1011/1411: Massage Therapy Fundamentals I Instruction in the theory and the skills necessary to perform the Clinical Massage Therapy to a varying population using a variety of clinical skills to meet TDLR requirements for licensure as a Massage Therapist Prerequisite; MSSG-1011, MSSG-1013.
Sewing fundamental emphasizes the development of basic sewing skills used to create apparel. This course focuses on patterns, fabric selection, basic construction techniques, pressing skills, and timesaving technologies and techniques. Learn how to use your sewing machine. Small projects will be discussed in class. Students must bring sewing machine, tape measure, scissors, and pins.
Instruction in lifesaving skills of respiratory (choking and near drowning) and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. Must meet requirements of certifying agency. Meets American Heart Association standards and requirements for all healthcare programs.
