If you are interested in learning Python, this is the class for you. We will emphasize learning the basics of programming using Python, so you can leverage the reference book to solve real-world issues on your own upon course completion. Suggested prerequisite: General computing knowledge and a desire to learn programming with Python.
A survey of dances from different cultures, their histories, and their influences on contemporary dance and society. Cultural origins, significance, motivations and techniques will be explored experientially. No previous dance experience necessary. Integrated with credit DANC-1305. A study of anatomy and physiology with emphasis on human pathophysiology, including: etiology, prognosis, medical treatment, signs and symptoms of common diseases of all body systems.
