An introduction to anatomical systems with emphasis placed on head and neck anatomy. The supporting oral structures, embryology of the teeth, and tooth nomenclature are covered. Topics include the physiology and morphology of the deciduous and the permanent teeth along with basic dental terminology. This is the first course in the Dental Assisting Program. Admission to the Dental Assisting Program is required for registration.
Taught by a native speaker, experience a new language and culture for travel and personal enrichment. Learn to communicate with basic conversations. This course will help students develop better listening to real conversations, practice in speaking, and focus on correct pronunciation. Course for beginners. No prerequisite. Excel 2019 Intermediate

You will learn how to harness the power of Excel's data analysis tools and AutoFilter commands and how to create macros that eliminate repetitive tasks. Set yourself apart from the casual Excel user by adding VLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH, and other intermediate functions to your professional skill set. In addition, you will learn to create macros that let you manipulate data with the push of a button. You'll also discover how to use Goal Seek and Solver and apply them to real-world problems. Software requirements: PC: Windows 10 or later operating systems. Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible. Microsoft Excel, a subscription to Office 365, or Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019. Suggested prerequisite: Excel Introduction or basic understanding of Microsoft Excel uses and functions.
The use of specialized software and use of adaptive hardware is included in this class. Vocational technology use includes keyboard use, data entry, and transcription accuracy. System and application software skills appropriate for each student are selected during the admissions interview. This course is geared toward supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Adding Static and Dynamic Cupping for Myofascial Release...
This 6 hour Continuing Education course will provide an in-depth look at the use of cupping as a myofascial release technique that can be incorporated in the practice of massage therapy. Demonstration and practice will be provided on the use of silicon and plastic cupping, dynamic vs. static cupping, technique, cup care and maintenance as well as how to talk to your clients about cupping for their therapeutic needs. A take home silicon set of 8 cups is included in the tuition. Students need to bring a set of massage sheets, lubricant and note taking supplies to class. Tables and cups will be provided.
We will cover basic camera operation and controls: shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc. And, we will familiarize ourselves with the technical and aesthetic process of making photographs: composition, context, obvious and subtle themes and subject. We will learn how to make a simple and dynamic photographs. There will be several in class projects and critique to learn from each other. A point-and shoot camera will work, a camera with manual controls will give the best opportunity for learning how to get the desired results.

In order to get prepared for the Bootcamp, ACC is offering a Bootcamp Prep Course. In this prep course, you will work on essential computer and math skills. This 2 week long course will help navigate the rigor of the Bootcamp.
