Explores the CRM application from a user's perspective including Core CRM Navigation, User Interface, E-mail Client, and the Sales Management module. Salesforce is the world’s #1 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. A CRM system gives sales, customer service, business development, recruiting, marketing, or any other line of business, a better way to manage the external interactions and relationships that drive success. This course is designed for: New administrators who are responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the Salesforce org; and other groups that would benefit from this course, including sales reps, sales operations, service agents, and IT managers. Suggested prerequisite: General computer knowledge including navigating a web browser.
This course combines a two-day live workshop and process validations, along with pre-course reading, and significant online/distance learning (DIL) coursework, followed by three, proctored, written examinations, to train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in sterile compounding and aseptic technique (SCAT). All course activities are designed to be completed within a two-month time-frame; however, motivated students may be able to move through the online coursework and written testing more quickly. The two-day, hands-on workshop is held in our state-of-the-art training facility in Austin, Texas. All other coursework is completed online using our Blackboard Learning Management System. This course requires significant preparatory work to be ready for the rigorous live workshop. The live workshop will be comprised of a brief review of USP<797>; standards and basic aseptic technique principles, followed by a series of process validation procedures which include: aseptic garbing and hand washing, hood cleaning, large and small volume parenteral preparation, ampule preparation, etc. The total estimated time required to complete this course is 40 hours (live workshop combined with home-study); may be spread out over a period of from 2-weeks up to one- semester, depending on course section. This course is designed to train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in basic sterile compounding and aseptic technique principles based on current USP<797> standards. CPE activity completers will receive a frame-able certificate of completion and upload of ACPE credit of 4.0 CEUs (40 hours) into CPE monitor. This is a Practice-Based activity. NOTE: this course meets the requirements for accredited training defined by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy in TAC 291.133. Prerequisites: Certified (PTCB) pharmacy technician and/or registered pharmacy technician; or registered pharmacist or pharmacy intern; or be enrolled in or have completed an ASHP/ACPE-Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program or ACPE Accredited College of Pharmacy, or have a minimum of six months of pharmacy experience. Preferred: ≥ two years of pharmacy experience and ≥ 6 months of direct sterile compounding experience. Note: Departmental approval is required via completion of the online petition. PHRA 1091 is a hybrid course with a laboratory (face-to-face) and an online (DIL) component. MANDATORY Online orientation and coursework will be found in Blackboard at acconline.austincc.edu. There will be two MANDATORY Labs at EVC Room Number 9213 from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., only on the noted dates for each section below. For questions, contact the instructor listed. This ensemble introduces students to the techniques and rhythms of Afro-Cuban folkloric and popular music. This music, born of African slaves transplanted to Cuba in the 17th and 18th centuries, is rich in West African history and culture. The rumba family of folkloric styles includes yambu, rumba Columbia, and guaguanco and can be traced directly to the Yoruba people in Nigeria. These traditional styles, in addition to the popular cha-cha-cha, mambo, and the mozambique are performed by the ensemble.
This course provides novice business analysts or those wanting to enter the profession with an understanding of the foundation concepts and key techniques of business analysis. To ensure that everyone has a common understanding of how projects are performed, there is also a focus on key concepts of projects and project management. Then, through class discussions and homework, participants learn how an organization identifies the needs for changes and selects solution approaches. With exercises and discussion, they learn how requirements are elicited and analyzed, practicing some of the most common techniques that are used by business analysts. They get experience with interviews, workshops, process modeling, writing use cases and user stories, building functional requirements, and performing structured walkthroughs. Participants read and discuss the IIBA BABOK Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge as the backbone of the course. A study of anatomy and physiology with emphasis on human pathophysiology, including: etiology, prognosis, medical treatment, signs and symptoms of common diseases of all body systems.
A general survey of dance forms designed to create an appreciation of the vocabulary, techniques and purposes of the creative process. This course includes critical interpretation and evaluations of choreographic works and dance forms within cultural and historical contexts. When converted to credit, this course fulfills the Texas Core Curriculum requirement for Creative Arts. Integrated with credit DANC-2303. This course focuses on the science of teaching reading and integrating reading instruction into specific content area instruction. Strategies are provided to incorporate phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, comprehension, and fluency into daily content area instruction. Identification and strategies for addressing dyslexia are also covered.
