A survey of the practical aspects of the physical fitness industry. Emphasis on equipment cost analysis, program marketing, legal issues, policy formation, budgetary planning, computer software applications, and current industry trends. Integrated with college credit FITT 2333. The following course is integrated with the Exercise Science program. This course is designed to offer instruction for individuals interested in entering the workforce as a fitness professional and can be used in pursuit of the Fitness Specialist and Personal Fitness Trainer certificates or assist in preparing for national certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer. Medical office procedures including appointment scheduling, records creation and maintenance, phone, finances, coding, billing, collecting, third party reimbursement, and computer usage. Students will demonstrate accurate and efficient scheduling of patient appointments; create, document, and maintain patient medical records; correlate accurate coding, billing, collecting, and filing of procedures; perform financial processes; and use the computer for basic office functions.
This course contains adaptive lessons designed to teach individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities skills in Inclusive and Accessible Healthy Relationship and Safer Sexuality Curriculum for Young Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The class is individualized to meet a student’s needs and goals.
Introduction to Presentation Graphics Software:...
Instruction in the utilization of presentation software to produce multimedia presentations. Graphics, text, sound, animation and/or video may be used in presentation development. This course covers the required skill sets on the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) specialist level exam.

You will immerse in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, Linux, Git, AWS etc. You will learn how to design and build backend systems including SQL database schemas, RESTful APIs and services. You will learn how to work in a multi-developer team, using tools like Git, Github and Atlassian Jira. Suggested prerequisite is basic computer knowledge. Prior programming language is not required, but would help you navigate the bootcamp materials and projects.
