This course is an examination of the principles of movement generation, phrasing, choreographic structure and motif manipulation. Integration of choreographic principles will foster the growth of personal artistic style. Integrated with credit DANC-1301. Understanding and working with your soil is essential to farming and ranching. Introduction to Soil is a study of the physical properties of soil including structure and texture. Topics include the origin and development of soils, the composition of soil horizon, and the interrelationship between soil fertility and plants. Emphasis will be placed on different methods for soil conservation and soil building practices in sustainable agriculture.
Whether you like to arrange flowers at home, or are interested in becoming a professional floral designer, this course will give you an introduction to the art of Floral Design. Students will learn tools, mechanics, elements, and principles of design, as well as cut flower identification, care, and handling. Students will make basic floral arrangements, which they will be able to take home.
Two evening classes will take you from beginner to a pro-level so people will say “WOW, how did you make that!” Concentrating on the endless ways epoxy clays, resins, crystals, beads, and molds can be used in creating clever and interesting jewelry. You’ll create many pieces using all new techniques that will reflect your taste and style. It’s so much fun! Bring your readers and a snack.

Get started with Google Workspace by learning the basics of nine key Google apps: Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, Meet, and Chat.
(Human Relations/Patient Education, CPR, and First Aid are included). Medical office procedures including appointment scheduling, records creation and maintenance, phone, finances, coding, billing, collecting, third party reimbursement, and computer usage. Students will demonstrate accurate and efficient scheduling of patient appointments; create, document, and maintain patient medical records; correlate accurate coding, billing, collecting, and filing of procedures; perform financial processes; and use the computer for basic office functions.
