Course Description

This course will address the aspects of raising goats for production. Topics will include nutrition, housing, fencing, worming, vaccinations, kidding, disbudding, banding, first aid and management practices. This class will have a portion that is hands on at the campus barn. Students need to dress appropriately to be in the barn.
