Learn to create audio-visual tutorials for technical products employing the principles of instructional design, user experience, and usability as a foundation to learn and employ audio-video applications like TechSmith, Camtasia and Adobe Captivate. This course combines a two-day live workshop, along with pre-course reading, and significant online/distance learning (DIL) coursework, and a proctored, written examination, to train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in sterile compounding related to pediatric preparations. All course activities are designed to be completed within a 12-week semester. The two-day, hands-on workshop is held in our state-of-the-art training facility in Austin, Texas. All other coursework is completed online using our Blackboard Learning Management System. Hands-on training includes: pediatric calculations, pediatric LVP, EEC, and syringe preparations, other neonatal and/or pediatric CSPs. The total estimated time required to complete this course is 64 hours (live workshop combined with home-study); may be spread out over a period of from 2-weeks up to one-semester, depending on course section. CPE activity completers will receive a frame-able certificate of completion, ACPE statement of credit, and upload of ACPE credit of 6.4 CEUs (64 hours) into CPE monitor. This is a Practice-Based Activity. Prerequisites: Certified (PTCB) pharmacy technician and/or registered pharmacy technician (technicians practicing in states that do not require certification or registration will be considered on a case-by-case basis); or registered pharmacist or pharmacy intern with ≥ 1 year of pharmacy experience and ≥ 6 months of direct sterile compounding experience. Completion of ASHP/ACPE accredited or ACPE accredited IV certificate comprised of ≥ 40 hours (4.0 CEUs) for technicians or ≥ 20 hours (2.0 CEUs) for pharmacists, of which ≥ 50% of coursework was comprised of direct sterile compounding experience. Preferred: Completion of ACC’s Sterile Compounding and Aseptic Technique (SCAT) course " PHRA 1091; ≥ two years of pharmacy experience and ≥ 1 year of direct sterile compounding experience. When submitting your online petition, you must scan and upload your resume or CV, proof of certification or registration, and evidence of IV certificate to be evaluated as evidence that you meet the prerequisites. Targeted for information systems or engineering students seeking cloud computing expertise, Cloud Computing Architecture is an AWS Academy provided curriculum designed to help students develop technical expertise in cloud computing using the AWS framework, including web monitoring and analytical tools to improve and report site functionality. Students are prepared for the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification exam. The curriculum is taught through e-learning, instructor-led classes, hands-on labs, online knowledge assessments, and project work. The student kit includes course manuals, access to labs, and a practice exam. Suggested prerequisite: AWS cloud computing architecture requires a strong conceptual foundation in multiple computing, software development, and IT concepts and skills as identified in the syllabus.
The Civil 3D Fundamentals course is designed for Civil Engineers and Surveyors who want to take advantage of AutoCAD Civil 3D's interactive, dynamic design functionality. AutoCAD Civil 3D permits the rapid development of alternatives through its model-based design tools. You will learn techniques enabling you to organize project data, work with points, create and analyze surfaces, model road corridors, create parcel layouts, perform grading and volume calculation tasks, and lay out pipe networks. Duration: 32 hours. Prerequisites: Prior experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD-based products (such as Autodesk Land Desktop) is a prerequisite for this course.
