Blockchain Fundamentals

This course provides a foundation in a practical knowledge of blockchain. Beginning with an understanding of blockchain technology and its intended purpose, the course progresses into blockchain architecture. You will review the enterprise implementation and practical use of blockchain, such as in banking, healthcare and government applications. Throughout the course, you will also learn how blockchain evolved from its beginnings with cryptocurrencies and the role it plays in the trading, distribution, and other transactions that occur with cryptocurrency.
A continuation of Massage Therapy Fundamentals I. Emphasizes specialized techniques and assessment of client needs to identify a specific plan of care. Completes the requirements for Massage Techniques for licensure. Prerequisite: MSSG 1011/1411: Massage Therapy Fundamentals I Instruction in the theory and the skills necessary to perform the Clinical Massage Therapy to a varying population using a variety of clinical skills to meet TDLR requirements for licensure as a Massage Therapist Prerequisite; MSSG-1011, MSSG-1013.
Strategies for Today's Jobs offers personalized job coaching and guidance for a successful job search to increase your chance of getting hired. Classes are designed for participants with a wide range of backgrounds and goals, from new job seekers to those with extensive career histories. The course offering includes guidance through all stages of the job search-from finding a job to negotiating a salary-and participants will gain access to JobScan, YouScience, BigInterview, and Handshake. This course is open to students, staff, alumni, and community members. There is no tuition associated with this course.
The history of radiology theory will be presented including physics, radiation protection, operation of radiographic equipment, darkroom procedures, and exposure techniques. The student will state the theory and principles of radiographic techniques, physics, and radiation health and safety; and exhibit competency in exposing, processing, and mounting intraoral radiographs. Only current students of the Dental Assisting Program can register for this course.
