Students will learn wax modeling skills to sculpt wax models for casting jewelry objects, using both subtractive (carving) methods and additive (build-up) methods. Students will create wax models to meet the specific design criteria of assigned and student-created projects. Prerequisite: JLRY-1001. Combined with credit JLRY-1476.
Concepts and skills of leadership in the work setting. Introduces leadership and motivational theories and leadership styles. Includes evaluation of leadership performance. Explore how leaders use power and influence to achieve organizational commitment and effectiveness. Discuss topics of organizational culture, business ethics, and effective goal setting and planning. Identify case studies about the global economy and current events for developing personal leadership skills.
Continuation of KORX-4011 with more advanced conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. This course fosters deeper understanding of Korean-speaking people through cultural comparison and development of written and spoken communication. Combined with credit KORE-1412.
This course will examine and apply the landscape design process. Topics will include design principles and elements, site inventory and analysis, design programming, client relationship, conceptual design, form study, master plan and planting plans. Recommended prerequisite: HALT 1072 Introduction to Landscape Graphics.

A study of guided and sequential experiences for developing aerobic based group exercise leadership skills. Opportunities provided for students to practice these skills under a professional mentor in a group setting. Integrated with college credit FITT 2331. The following course is integrated with the Exercise Science program. This course is designed to offer instruction for individuals interested in entering the workforce as a fitness professional and can be used in pursuit of the Fitness Specialist and Personal Fitness Trainer certificates or assist in preparing for national certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer.
