Publishing, design, and layout techniques for websites. Introduces HTML tables and forms. Demonstrates CSS styling of tables and forms. Introduces CSS page layout and interactive menu creation techniques. Hands-on experience in building web pages using techniques covered in class. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to World Wide Web Authoring, HTML and CSS, similar course, or equivalent experience.
Led by Craig Nigh, this workshop is a must for film and television actors, particularly for auditions! Craig offers a step by step process for examining scripts quickly and thoroughly. Having a clear perception of the writer’s intentions will help inform the choices an actor makes and gives ultimate creative freedom inside the context of the story. The class also focuses on connection (with another actor or reader), and basic camera technique. Scenes are filmed for playback and critique. Limited to 12 students.
Continuation and progression from beginning tennis. Students with mastery of fundamental strokes will learn through play and instruction in the more advanced strategies and skills. This is an intermediate class focusing on acting for the camera. It is required that you have had at least a basic acting class before joining - such as Acting Fundamentals or equivalent. The emphasis is on camera technique as well as developing a naturalistic acting style through connection, honesty, vulnerability, and following intuitive impulses. The students’ work will be explored through exercises and scene study from film and television scripts. Some videotaping and playback will be used for critique.
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

This course will introduce students to various forms of artificial intelligence (AI) and how we interact with AI as consumers in applications like chatbots and recommendation engines. Students will see how AI provides analytics in business and consider industries that may be transformed or even disrupted by AI implementations. Includes review of neural networks, machine learning, AI applications such as natural language processing, forecasting, and robotics as well as the AI development process and some of the ethical factors in AI deployment.
Survey of veterinary medicine, including veterinary-related careers, safety in the Veterinary workplace, the human-companion animal bond, animal restraint, client relations, and basic medical terminology. This online course is a pre-or co-requisite to entering the Veterinary Clinical Assistant program. The student program application process must be completed in full before students may register for Semester II courses.

This online course will teach you how to use Microsoft Word 2019, the widely-used word processing software by Microsoft Office/Office 365. Through hands-on lessons and modules, you will learn how to use a number of shortcuts and time-saving techniques to create complex documents, create and organize tables, manipulate graphics, and merge spreadsheets. Software requirements: Windows 10 or later operating systems. Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible. Microsoft Word, a subscription to Office 365, or Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019. Suggested prerequisite: Word 2019 Introduction or basic familiarity with Microsoft Word's word processing and editing.
