Publishing, design, and layout techniques for websites. Introduces HTML tables and forms. Demonstrates CSS styling of tables and forms. Introduces CSS page layout and interactive menu creation techniques. Hands-on experience in building web pages using techniques covered in class. Most specialists will be employed in hospitals, but job growth will be faster in offices and clinics of physicians, nursing homes and home health agencies. Prerequisite: HITT 1013.
Provides general preparation for instructional aides by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Day 1 covers Working Together Successfully; Day 2 covers Learning Styles and Instructional Process; and Day 3 covers Reading, Writing, and Math. Assessments are performance-based and take place throughout the course. Successful participants may earn a Paraeducator Statement of Completion for employment. Sack Lunch requested. STUDENTS MUST ATTEND ALL THREE DAYS, must meet qualifications, complete class independently, and pass all the requirements. Students who are not "highly qualified" will earn a Professional Development Statement of Completion.
Learn the techniques for entering the international marketplace. Emphasis on the impact and dynamics of sociocultural, demographic, economic,
technological, and political-legal factors in the foreign trade environment.
