The modern quality, and adaptability of the new smart phone is often as good as a Digital Single Lens Reflect or Mirrorless cameras. This course will cover the basics of making a photograph using your iPhone. Which includes: light and paying close attention to it. Context is nearly as important as the subject. Choosing the best exposure setting to get the desired result. Participants will learn and use exposure settings, editing, and storage on a newer iPhone to create great photographs. Additionally, this course will explore intentionality and audience when making photos.
To prepare for employment as a medical office support personnel, insurance clerk or receptionist, students are placed in doctors’ offices and health care centers for internships. Students will demonstrate/perform the duties of a medical office support personnel including appointment scheduling, records creation and maintenance, phone, finances, coding, billing, collecting, third party reimbursement, and computer usage. Students will demonstrate accurate and efficient scheduling of patient appointments; create, document, and maintain patient medical records; correlate accurate coding, billing, collecting, and filing of procedures; perform financial processes; and use the computer for basic office functions.

Want to set up a jewelry business or just learn new ideas Start with this course which will build your knowledge from the beginning. You’ll get plenty of 1 on 1 time. Learn: pricing, websites, selling, photographing, online selling plus a new jewelry technique each night. This will include: mold making, resins, epoxy clays, using photos in jewelry, making bead caps, combining techniques and much more! You’ll have new pieces to wear each class. Supplies galore will be available so you can express your own style. Wear clothes for creating + bring a snack + your readers. Plan on meeting new friends. All supplies, a free book & materials provided by the instructor. Take both versions of the class to double your skills.

Designed for ESOL students at the high beginning level, this course emphasizes speaking and listening to everyday American English. There is a strong focus on understanding conversation and using correct pronunciation, including vowel and consonant sounds as well as stress and intonation. Repeatable for up to six hours of credit. Integrated with credit ESOL-0301.
Introduction to Bartenieff Fundamentals is a LABAN/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies endorsed introductory course. Introduction to Bartenieff Fundamentals is an entry into the field of somatic movement education.
