Study of fundamentals of French: conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. This course fosters understanding of French-speaking people through cultural comparison and development of written and spoken communication. Combined with credit FREN-1411.
Instruction in determining financial needs and owner needs for financial assistance. Identify sources of funds and debt financing; and explain the borrowing process. This course will present different options for funding a small business. Options reviewed will include SBA loans, venture capital, angel funds and others. The course will also review requirements for owner's investment.

Skill development in the procedures and techniques employed by a plumber in the rough-in and top-out stages of a new home or the remodeling of an older home. End-of-Course Outcomes: Rough-in drain, waste, and vent pipes; install domestic water lines; install gas lines; and set control valves.
This course familiarizes students with the structure of the TOEFL iBT and reviews strategies and skills for taking the exam, including reading, writing, listening and speaking. Survey of the world of fashion businesses. Introduction to the creation and merchandising of fashion through the study of fashion vocabulary, the fashion process, fashion publications, and career opportunities. This is an online class. This class is a continuation of Guitar I. Topics will include: minor chords, strumming technique and basic music theory. This is a good opportunity to explore the guitar in a friendly, low stress environment. A guitar and pick are required; acoustic or classical guitars preferred but electric guitars are acceptable.
An introductory course to the fundamentals of volleyball including passing, serving, setting, and spiking. Students will learn rules and court strategy for playing the game.
