This course prepares students for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) "Six Sigma Black Belt" certification exam. The course is a refresher study of the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge. Topics include enterprise-wide deployment, business process management, project management, Six Sigma improvement methodology and tools (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control phases), lean enterprise principles, and Design for Six Sigma. The student will focus on the theory and application of these topics by studying the course materials and taking and reviewing sample exams containing questions similar to those on the actual CSSBB exam. Note that this course does not include the ASQ certification exam.
