A study of guided and sequential experiences for developing aerobic based group exercise leadership skills. Opportunities provided for students to practice these skills under a professional mentor in a group setting. Integrated with college credit FITT 2331. The following course is integrated with the Exercise Science program. This course is designed to offer instruction for individuals interested in entering the workforce as a fitness professional and can be used in pursuit of the Fitness Specialist and Personal Fitness Trainer certificates or assist in preparing for national certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer. Introduction to casting models from wax and/or resin using both centrifugal and vacuum processes. Corequisite: JLRY-1001 (can be taken previously or concurrently). Combined with credit JLRY-1409.
The modern quality, and adaptability of the new smart phone is often as good as a Digital Single Lens Reflect or Mirrorless cameras. This course will cover the basics of making a photograph using your iPhone. Which includes: light and paying close attention to it. Context is nearly as important as the subject. Choosing the best exposure setting to get the desired result. Participants will learn and use exposure settings, editing, and storage on a newer iPhone to create great photographs. Additionally, this course will explore intentionality and audience when making photos.

Create professional-quality documents efficiently and effectively. This online course will teach you how to use Microsoft Word 2019, the widely-used word processing software by Microsoft Office/Office 365. Through hands-on lessons and modules, you will learn how to use a number of shortcuts and time-saving techniques to create complex documents, create and organize tables, manipulate graphics, and merge spreadsheets. Software requirements: Windows 10 or later operating systems. Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible. Microsoft Word, a subscription to Office 365, or Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019. Suggested prerequisite: Word 2019 Introduction or basic familiarity with Microsoft Word's word processing and editing.
