Sewing fundamental emphasizes the development of basic sewing skills used to create apparel. This course focuses on patterns, fabric selection, basic construction techniques, pressing skills, and timesaving technologies and techniques. Learn how to use your sewing machine. Small projects will be discussed in class. Students must bring sewing machine, tape measure, scissors, and pins.
This course is designed for students who have completed Tai Chi I. The continuation and progression includes moving mediation and the remainder of the 108 movements that compromise the form.
