Opportunities provided for students to practice these skills under a professional mentor in a group setting. Integrated with college credit FITT 2331. The following course is integrated with the Exercise Science program. This course is designed to offer instruction for individuals interested in entering the workforce as a fitness professional and can be used in pursuit of the Fitness Specialist and Personal Fitness Trainer certificates or assist in preparing for national certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer. Survey of materials selection and construction techniques used at all price levels of mass produced apparel. Introduction to industry seam allowances. Nursing skills performance and assessment in a structured simulation laboratory setting. Designed specifically for the nurse who has been out of active practice for 4 years or more and is seeking renewal of licensure with the Texas Board of Nursing. Required prior to registering for RNSG 1060 or VNSG 1060. Open only to nurses who hold a current or expired license to practice in the United States or with permission of the coordinator.
Students in this course will learn designs appropriate for weddings, including bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and ceremony and reception decorations. Floral Design Principles is suggested as a prerequisite.
