This course provides job search preparation and strategies for students seeking employment in IT-related fields and industries. This free learning experience teaches specialized strategies to prepare job seekers for internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level or advanced technical positions. Students gain access to one-on-one job search support and will utilize leading-edge technologies including YouScience, Handshake, JobScan, BigInterview, and ChatGPT to create, optimize, and prepare materials for a successful job search.
A physical conditioning course that emphasizes cardiovascular fitness through your choice of walking, jogging, or a combination of both. Students will not be required to run. Correct techniques in striding and form will be introduced in addition to discussion of the benefits of aerobic exercise, nutrition, weight management, and associated topics. Practical and didactic survey of the profession of veterinary technology with emphasis on basic techniques, handling and care of domestic animals, and ethical and professional requirements. Class requires participation in lecture and clinical classes. Contact coordinator at 512-223-7583 for information and dates/times of the required orientation. Prerequisite: Prior to registration for this course, applicants are required to complete an online orientation and meet with the program coordinator.
In this course, students will review basic verb tenses, proceed to intermediate structures, emphasizing communicative use in academic and non-academic contests. Students will also complete lab projects enforcing these forms and concepts. Integrated with credit ESOL-0397.

This course is a continuation of Spanish I designed to increase your conversational skills in the Spanish Language. Emphasis on improving pronunciation and vocabulary range through participation and dialogue to affect business and personal communication needs.
Understanding and working with your soil is essential to farming and ranching. Introduction to Soil is a study of the physical properties of soil including structure and texture. Topics include the origin and development of soils, the composition of soil horizon, and the interrelationship between soil fertility and plants. Emphasis will be placed on different methods for soil conservation and soil building practices in sustainable agriculture.
