Describes the architecture, components, operations, and security to scale for large, complex networks, including wide area network (WAN) technologies. Emphasizes network security concepts and introduces network virtualization and automation. This course covers quality of service (QoS) mechanisms used for secure remote access. It also introduces software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support the digitalization of networks. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to Networks and Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials courses or an equivalent level of knowledge.

This introductory course in improvisation will investigate spontaneous problem solving as a means of generating movement for dance composition. Students will be called upon to explore and respond to various forms of stimuli in a safe and supportive learning environment within solo and group work. Integrated with credit DANC-1201. Introduction to the manual graphic techniques of Landscape Design. This is a hand drafting course. Drafting techniques and freehand sketching will be covered including plan, elevation/section, perspective drawing, scale, landscape symbols, and rendering techniques.
This is an intermediate class focusing on acting for the camera. It is required that you have had at least a basic acting class before joining - such as Acting Fundamentals or equivalent. The emphasis is on camera technique as well as developing a naturalistic acting style through connection, honesty, vulnerability, and following intuitive impulses. The students’ work will be explored through exercises and scene study from film and television scripts. Some videotaping and playback will be used for critique.
Continuation of ARAB 1411 / ARAX 4011 with more advanced conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. This course fosters deeper understanding of Arabic-speaking people through cultural comparison and development of written and spoken communication. Combined with credit ARAB-1412.
