Describes the architecture, components, operations, and security to scale for large, complex networks, including wide area network (WAN) technologies. Emphasizes network security concepts and introduces network virtualization and automation. This course covers quality of service (QoS) mechanisms used for secure remote access. It also introduces software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support the digitalization of networks. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to Networks and Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials courses or an equivalent level of knowledge.
This class is recommended for educational aides/paraprofessionals to become familiar working with special education students. This course covers Special Education topics such as IDEA, FAPE, IEP, physically impaired students, crisis intervention and LRE. Assessments are performance-based and take place throughout the course. This course provides a foundation in a practical knowledge of blockchain. Beginning with an understanding of blockchain technology and its intended purpose, the course progresses into blockchain architecture. You will review the enterprise implementation and practical use of blockchain, such as in banking, healthcare and government applications. Throughout the course, you will also learn how blockchain evolved from its beginnings with cryptocurrencies and the role it plays in the trading, distribution, and other transactions that occur with cryptocurrency.
A study of the concepts and skills necessary for starting and operating a small business including planning, organizing, staffing, managing, financing, marketing, and accounting functions.
