A comprehensive physical conditioning course, which includes calisthenics, plyometrics with medicine balls and strength and speed drills. An introductory course to the fundamentals of volleyball including passing, serving, setting, and spiking. Students will learn rules and court strategy for playing the game. A physical conditioning course that emphasizes cardiovascular fitness through your choice of walking, jogging, or a combination of both. Students will not be required to run. Correct techniques in striding and form will be introduced in addition to discussion of the benefits of aerobic exercise, nutrition, weight management, and associated topics. Study of plants in landscape design and their structural, environmental, and aesthetic uses. Garden styles and techniques as well as the development of planting plans will be covered. Instructor will provide a syllabus on the first day of class which will include book and/or supply info at approximate cost of $50. Recommended prerequisite: HALT 1072 Introduction to Landscape Graphics.
We will cover basic camera operation and controls: shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc. And, we will familiarize ourselves with the technical and aesthetic process of making photographs: composition, context, obvious and subtle themes and subject. We will learn how to make a simple and dynamic photographs. There will be several in class projects and critique to learn from each other. A point-and shoot camera will work, a camera with manual controls will give the best opportunity for learning how to get the desired results.
Overview of the selling process. Identification of the elements of the communication process between buyers and sellers and examination of the legal and ethical issues of organizations which affect salespeople.
