This class is for the actor interested in unveiling the mysteries of Shakespeare’s verse by understanding the meter, poetic forms and rhetoric Shakespeare so deftly employed. Using monologues and scene work, the students will have an opportunity to shape their character’s intentions, passions and thoughts through understanding the structure of the verse line. This class is for beginning to advanced acting students who may be new to Shakespeare. If you have a monologue you'd like to work on, bring to the first class, otherwise I will help you find one. Monologues: 1-2 minutes in length. students.
This course is designed to introduce students to the different forms of writing styles within business and the importance of planning, writing, revising, and editing business messages. Students seeking this course should be able to demonstrate fundamental computer skills and working knowledge of all Microsoft 2013 applications, and demonstrate knowledge of basic parts of speech and punctuation. This course is geared toward supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This course is designed specifically for adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Students explore office procedures including appointment scheduling, records creation and maintenance, interpersonal communications, bookkeeping tasks, coding, billing, collecting, third party reimbursement, credit arrangements, and computer use in the office. Database Programming with SQL and Python

Database development using database programming techniques emphasizing database structures, modeling, and database access. Learn to use Python with SQL quickly and effectively. Analyze data and communicate results to support inform data-driven decisions. Introduction to the analysis and utilization of data requirements and organization into normalized tables, exploration of different data types, expressions, and data manipulation. Course includes hands-on assignments and a final project. Suggested Prerequisites: ITNW 2075 SQL Database Essentials or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Excel Advanced

Program Area: Computer Science & Information Technology
Advanced concepts in electronic spreadsheets. Topics address macro programming features, database functions, merging/linking spreadsheets, data file transfer, and Boolean functions. Also includes using templates, importing data, and designing macros. Suggested prerequisites: Excel Intermediate or equivalent experience.
Development of personal, social, and work adjustment skills. Exploration will include open communication, assertiveness, self-disclosure, and building relationships with group members in a way that enhances trust and mutual concern. Knowledge gained in class is designed to transfer to actual working situations. Integrated with credit PSYT-1313. Qualifies for student health insurance.
