In-depth application of surgical, obstetrical, and anesthesia techniques including identification and use of instruments and equipment. Prerequisites: VTHT 1001-Introduction to Veterinary Technology, VTHT 1013-Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology, VTHT 1009-Veterinary Nutrition, VTHT 1049-Veterinary Pharmacology, or instructor approval.
This introductory course in improvisation will investigate spontaneous problem solving as a means of generating movement for dance composition. Students will be called upon to explore and respond to various forms of stimuli in a safe and supportive learning environment within solo and group work. Integrated with credit DANC-1201. The modern quality, and adaptability of the new smart phone is often as good as a Digital Single Lens Reflect or Mirrorless cameras. This course will cover the basics of making a photograph using your iPhone. Which includes: light and paying close attention to it. Context is nearly as important as the subject. Choosing the best exposure setting to get the desired result. Participants will learn and use exposure settings, editing, and storage on a newer iPhone to create great photographs. Additionally, this course will explore intentionality and audience when making photos.
