This course covers networking architecture, structure, security, and functions; introduces the principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations to provide a foundation for the curriculum. These components facilitate the connection of users, devices, applications, and data through the internet and across modern computer networks. Suggested prerequisite: A good level of understanding of computing and operating systems.
In this course, students will review basic verb tenses, proceed to intermediate structures, emphasizing communicative use in academic and non-academic contests. Students will also complete lab projects enforcing these forms and concepts. Integrated with credit ESOL-0397.
Basic non-paid work-based instruction that helps students synthesize new knowledge, apply previous knowledge, or gain experience managing the workflow. Practical experience is simultaneously related to theory. Close and/or direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional (instructor), generally in a clinical setting.
