This online course will teach you how to use Microsoft Word 2019, the widely-used word processing software by Microsoft Office/Office 365. Through hands-on lessons and modules, you will learn how to use a number of shortcuts and time-saving techniques to create complex documents, create and organize tables, manipulate graphics, and merge spreadsheets. Software requirements: Windows 10 or later operating systems. Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible. Microsoft Word, a subscription to Office 365, or Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019. Suggested prerequisite: Word 2019 Introduction or basic familiarity with Microsoft Word's word processing and editing.
An introduction to the creative design of clothing through the flat pattern method. General principles of pattern making using the basic five-piece dress sloper. Introduction to WWW Authoring, HTML, and CSS

This course will focus on the use of the World Wide Web (WWW) and the creation of a home page. Web browsers, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are discussed. Students get hands-on experience building simple web pages with hypertext links, graphics, and CSS. Includes an overview of techniques that enhance and facilitate page creation. Suggested prerequisites: familiarity with computers and browsing the internet.
Examination of the various stages of the group work treatment process with emphasis on roles, tasks, and potential problem areas. Topics include mechanics of group function, structure of groups, communication patterns within groups, effective group facilitation skills, and techniques used to address special population issues and needs. This is a 16 hour course consisting of an online introduction, classroom lecture, and range training. Skills covered will include: firearm and range safety protocols, pistol nomenclature, loading and unloading, grip, stance, trigger manipulation, and firearms storage and cleaning. By completion of the course students will have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of marksmanship and be able to safely and proficiently handle a pistol with confidence. No prerequisite required. Pistol and ammunition are provided. This class consists of 4 hours online training , 4 hours classroom and 8 hours of range.

We will emphasize learning the basics of programming using Python, so you can leverage the reference book to solve real-world issues on your own upon course completion. Suggested prerequisite: General computing knowledge and a desire to learn programming with Python.
A short conversational course for intermediate to advanced student, to assist them in conducting conversations in Spanish, as well as understanding articles written in Spanish. This course includes reviews of some basic grammar in order to expand on more advanced concepts, and it introduces new advanced grammar topics.
