A study of anatomy and physiology with emphasis on human pathophysiology, including: etiology, prognosis, medical treatment, signs and symptoms of common diseases of all body systems.
This course familiarizes students with the structure of the TOEFL iBT and reviews strategies and skills for taking the exam, including reading, writing, listening and speaking. PowerPoint 2019 is not compatible with earlier Windows versions. Browser: the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible. This course is designed to prepare teachers to instruct learners whose primary language is other than English. The course emphasizes language concepts and best instructional practices for facilitating English language proficiency. Instructional techniques for both literacy and oral language development focus on social and academic language skills. In addition, the course prepares the candidates for managing the ESL program, ESL classroom, working with families, and drawing upon community resources.
