Introduces Portuguese through rhythm of the language by exploring vocabulary and phonemic (sound) awareness. Students are invited to learn about some aspects of Brazilian culture, for instance, music, fashion, culinary and dance. Participants will be engaged in activities, such as skits and playing games that help develop basic conversation skills.
Study of current office procedures including telephone skills, time management, travel and meeting arrangements, mail processing, and other duties and responsibilities in an office environment. Required textbook (e-book) is available through Blackboard at acconline.austincc.edu.

A continuation of practices and techniques used in basic computer-aided drafting emphasizing advanced dimensioning techniques, the development and use of prototype drawings, construction of pictorial drawings, construction of three dimensional drawings, interfacing 2D and 3D environments and extracting data.
Introduction of the basic principles and practices of sterile technique, sterilization, preparation, and use of surgical instruments, supplies and equipment; ethical/legal implications.
