This course provides novice business analysts or those wanting to enter the profession with an understanding of the foundation concepts and key techniques of business analysis. To ensure that everyone has a common understanding of how projects are performed, there is also a focus on key concepts of projects and project management. Then, through class discussions and homework, participants learn how an organization identifies the needs for changes and selects solution approaches. With exercises and discussion, they learn how requirements are elicited and analyzed, practicing some of the most common techniques that are used by business analysts. They get experience with interviews, workshops, process modeling, writing use cases and user stories, building functional requirements, and performing structured walkthroughs. Participants read and discuss the IIBA BABOK Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge as the backbone of the course. Students will need to purchase A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK Guide), 3rd Edition ISBN-10: 1927584027 or ISBN-13: 978-1927584026.

Emphasis is on patient-centered assessment, examination, intervention, and treatment as directed by physician, including: vital signs, collection and documentation of patient information, asepsis, minor surgical procedures, and other treatments as appropriate for the medical office.
Survey of the world of fashion businesses. Introduction to the creation and merchandising of fashion through the study of fashion vocabulary, the fashion process, fashion publications, and career opportunities. This is an online class. Editing Government, Business and Technical Information
Instruction in proofreading and editing skills necessary to assure accuracy in business documents as well as technical documents. Designed to give students a working understanding of the role of the technical editor as collaborator and decision maker in the entire publication process. Topics include online editing, revising, hypertext, graphics, visual design, and project estimating. Integrated with credit ETWR-2379.
