Our goal is simple: to help people in our community achieve the success they desire. ACC works with a variety of non-profit organizations to develop training opportunities for individuals who need assistance in obtaining basic job skills. Our partners are compassionate, caring, and share our vision of providing quality training that will prepare you for a new and bright future.

ACC has partnered with the Region 13 Education Service Center to operate Texas ACE™ (Afterschool Centers on Education) programs at eleven Central Texas schools. Texas ACE™ is a grant program administered by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and funded by the U.S. Department of Education's 21st Century Community Learning Centers program. These programs support academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.

The Texas ACE™ program is designed to offer students a safe, enriching environment where they may continue to learn before school, after school, and during the Summer. Students may take advantage of tutoring opportunities, further exploration into their classes' curricula, exposure to college and career readiness opportunities, engagement with classmates, and families are assisted in developing active, respectful, and effective partnerships with the schools that are linked to learning and support children's learning and development and school improvement.

Our programs give you convenient access to a wide selection of noncredit courses that can open doors to a new career, build skills for your current job, or simply expand your knowledge in a subject you’re interested in.
