| This course provides additional instruction for students who have completed Millinery Design I. Students will gain an understanding of traditional millinery techniques and how to apply them in blocking, finishing and trimming felt and straw hats. Students will design and make 3 hats in this class, and have the skills necessary to make their own hats for fashion, theater, and historic reproduction or to develop sketches, spec sheets and prototypes for manufacture of a headwear collection. Please bring dinner/snack for quick 30-minute break. PREREQUISITE: Millinery Design I or equivelant. | |
