The Pharmacy Technician Program combines lecture, on-campus laboratory, and clinical training. Students who complete this two-semester certificate are eligible to take a national certification exam and are qualified for a variety of employment opportunities in local community and hospital pharmacies. Pharmacy Technicians work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Department Chair approval required.
