ACC Continuing Education

This class will be conducted in a hybrid online format with required sessions for skills training and testing. Students will need to log into Blackboard for course content, course dates, and course information that will be available at the beginning of the semester. This course will also be Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) approved for Incident Safety Officer (ISO) certification. TCFP skills training will be conducted on October 7th or 8th. TCFP skills testing will be conducted on October 15th. Students (seeking TCFP Incident Safety Officer certification) will be required to meet face-to-face to complete the TCFP skills training and testing. Additionally, as mandated by TCFP requirements, students will need to take an end of course proctored exam. 31824 - This class will be conducted in an hybrid format consisting of two mandatory class sessions and online assignments. Students are required to attend two class sessions EITHER August 26th OR 27th AND October 7th OR 8th at the ACC South Austin Campus (1820 W. Stassney Lane). Attendance at the first session is mandatory and you will be dropped should you not attend. Students will need to log into Blackboard for course content, course dates, and course information. This course will also be Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) approved for Fire Officer I certification. All TCFP skills testing will be conducted after the class ends. Additionally, as mandated by TCFP requirements, students will need to take an end of course proctored exam. This will be conducted at the time of skill testing unless otherwise notified by the instructor. There will be four face to face meetings for this class, students may attend on Aug 26 or 28, Sept 9 or 11, Sept 23 or 25 and Oct 7 or Oct 9.  You may come to either class session on the class dates assigned. This course will also be Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) approved for Fire Instructor I (FN I) certification. Class sessions will include lecture and TCFP skills practice. 
Orientation Session #1: August 26 OR 28, 2025.  Time 1300-1630.
Class Session #2: September 23 OR 25, 2025. Time 1300-1630.

Final Exam and TCFP skills testing will be conducted on either October 15 OR 16, 2025.  Time 0900-1500.
Location for Final Exam and TCFP Skills Testing is ACC Fire Academy, Shaw Lane.

31832-The Austin Community College TCFP Driver Operator Course is a component of the ACC Fire Service Training Program.  This class will be conducted in an online/hybrid format.  Students will need to log into Blackboard for course content, course dates, and course information.  There will be four face to face meetings, with the final meeting being a skills test and final exam.  The class will will have a start date of 10/20/2025, and end date of 12/14/2025, with times from 6pm-10pm, the location being 4800 Shaw Lane, Bldg. G. Class dates are: Oct. 20 & 23, Nov. 3 & 5, & Nov. 17 & 20, Dec 1 & 4 with TCFP Skills testing on: Dec 9 or 11. Students may come to either class date for each session.
