Chemical Dependency

The courses below satisfy part of the 270 hours (series of 6 Pre-Service courses) of required classroom coursework in preparation for certification as an LCDC. 135 of these hours must be A&D. (R) = Related course, (A&D) = Specific chemical dependency course. The Internships qualify for the required 300 hour supervised internship, and may be taken after the 270 hours of classroom work has been completed. Austin Community College is a provider approved by the TCBADAC Standards Committee, Provider No. 0975-93. (These courses are also approved for CE for LCDC, nurses, social workers, and LPCs).
