Pamela Y. Shoaf

Pamela Shoaf has over 20 years of professional experience that includes extensive accounting, financial and data analysis. She began her career at KPMG, obtained her CPA license,and then transitioned to a financial services firm where she performed in all aspects of the company including internal audit, operations management, secondary marketing, and project management. As an auditor, she used data analysis as a tool to identify financial inconsistencies and discrepancies. She then transitioned to a business analyst role which involved heavy work in Excel analyzing data, running queries, and generating dashboard reports. Each subsequent role continued to advance her analytical skills and provided opportunities to mentor others. She currently works as a consultant during the week and teaches a continuing education course in accounting and data analytics at Austin Community College. Pam obtained a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
