Supply Chain Management/Logistics has become a vital source of competitive advantage for companies throughout Texas and the United States. Employees are in demand across many industries, including oil & gas, automotive, computers and electronics, food and beverage, and medical.

In Austin surrounding area, there is a projection of nearly 35,000 supply chain management jobs by 2022. An estimated 750 new jobs will be needed annually in Central Texas with job growth projected at 22 percent; five times the national average.

The Supply Chain Management & Logistics Program at Austin Community College prepares graduates for entry-level employment in transportation, logistics, warehousing, and global sourcing.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management Classes

Through Continuing Education, ACC offers the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) CLT certification. The Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification is achieved via two credentials:

Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

The foundational-level Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) Certification. The following course prepares students for the Certified Logistics Associate Exam.

OSHT-1015 Safety and Accident Prevention

Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

The mid-level Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certification. The following course prepares students for Certified Logistics Technician Exam. Prerequisite: CLA Certification Required
