Course Description
A systems approach to managing activities associated with traffic, transportation, inventory management, warehousing, packaging, order processing, and materials handling. This is course one of a foundation two-level track that will help our participants understand and master the core competencies of material handling and its relevance in the entire supply chain/logistics function. People gravitate to technology to solve problems. Python is a programming language that lets you work quickly to solve these problems. If you are interested in learning Python, this is the class for you. We will emphasize learning the basics of programming using Python, so you can leverage the reference book to solve real-world issues on your own upon course completion. Suggested prerequisite: General computing knowledge and a desire to learn programming with Python.
Japanese I

Course Description
Study of fundamentals of Japanese: conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. This course fosters understanding of Japanese-speaking people through cultural comparison and development of written and spoken communication. Combined with credit JAPN-1411.
Course Description
This on-campus Saturday format course is an exam prep experience for the PMBOK Guide knowledge base to help students pass the most recent PMP and CAPM exams. The course focuses on the fundamental concepts from an exam perspective that are tested on both exams. Students should see PMI.org for the PMP and CAPM examination requirements. This course is only examination preparation that assumes you have sufficient project management background and/or foundational coursework to learn about the spectrum of Project Management tools, techniques, models, and methods, such as BMGT 1021 Introduction to Managing Projects and/or intermediate-level BMGT 1009 Applied Project Management course offerings.
Introduction to Academic English

Course Description
This class will cover all four language skills (reading, writing, grammar, and oral communication) with a focus on the fundamental grammar structures that will help students succeed in academic English classes. After successful completion of this course, participants should be able to join Oral Communication I through ESOL.
Anatomy and Physiology BIOL Assessment Test Prep

Course Description
The Biology Department offers a short “prep” course at various times throughout the year in conjunction with Continuing Education to refresh students’ knowledge of high school biology and chemistry and help students prepare for the Course Readiness Assessment test required for registration in BIOL 2401 (A&P I). Students wishing to sign up for the class should enroll in BIOL-4000.
