Enables students to synthesize knowledge, apply skills in a clinical setting, and develop experience managing workflow. In this capstone course, students integrate skills, knowledge and abilities acquired in all massage technique courses as they perform massage at an on campus practicum site. Students will be under the direct supervision is provided by a licensed massage therapy instructor on the staff at Austin Community College Locations. Meets the minimum 50-contact-hour requirement for licensure for Massage. Text for this class is the Student Internship Handbook provided in class. Online HIPAA required. Provides training in the specific techniques necessary for ensemble performance. Emphasizes both ensemble and solo playing. Repertoire varies according to emphasis. Combined with credit MUEN-1124.
Continuation of FREX-3011 with more advanced conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. Analyze data using Excel, an essential foundation for the interdisciplinary field of Data Analytics. Analyzing data through knowledge of mean, median, mode, average, sum, macros, and pivot tables, while solidifying predictions to influence business data is the building blocks to this course. Suggested prerequisites: Excel Intermediate or equivalent knowledge. Required material: Microsoft Excel 2013 or higher.
