The study of physical and financial office practices and marketing. Includes ethical practices for massage therapists as established by law or regulatory agency. Meets the minimum 45-contact-hour requirement for licensure for Massage. Students learn scope of practice, ethical standards, policies and regulations that affect a massage business. Topics include establishing self-care strategies and successful therapeutic relationships; forming professional alliances; attracting particular markets using sales, marketing and retention strategies; and how to apply financial, administrative and insurance processes to the massage profession. Students will create business plan outlines for massage practices. Prerequisite: Completed program application.
Gross anatomy of domestic animals including physiological explanations of how each organ system functions. Veterinary terminology will also be included, with an introduction to word parts, directional terminology, and analysis of common veterinary terms. Prerequisite: Prior to registration for this course, applicants are required to complete an online orientation and meet with the program coordinator. A CRM system gives sales, customer service, business development, recruiting, marketing, or any other line of business, a better way to manage the external interactions and relationships that drive success. This course is designed for: New administrators who are responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the Salesforce org; and other groups that would benefit from this course, including sales reps, sales operations, service agents, and IT managers. Suggested prerequisite: General computer knowledge including navigating a web browser.
This on-campus Saturday format course is an exam prep experience for the PMBOK Guide knowledge base to help students pass the most recent PMP and CAPM exams. The course focuses on the fundamental concepts from an exam perspective that are tested on both exams. Students should see PMI.org for the PMP and CAPM examination requirements. This course is only examination preparation that assumes you have sufficient project management background and/or foundational coursework to learn about the spectrum of Project Management tools, techniques, models, and methods, such as BMGT 1021 Introduction to Managing Projects and/or intermediate-level BMGT 1009 Applied Project Management course offerings.
