Continuation of JAPN 1411 with more advanced conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. This course fosters deeper understanding of Japanese-speaking people through cultural comparison and development of written and spoken communication. Combined with credit JAPN-1412
This course is intended for those who have knowledge of essential verb tenses and basic vocabulary. Students will engage in guided small-group conversations, using Brazilian cultural vocabulary and important grammar aspects of the language.
This course includes a variety of exercises focusing on increasing cardio-respiratory endurance as well as improving muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Movements set to music may include interval and circuit training, high and/or low impact movements, body sculpting, slide, cardio-dance, step aerobics and boot-camp style training. Major concepts, theories, and their applications to prepare for the SHRM-CP/SCP Certification Exam. Suggested prerequisites: four years in a exempt level HR position: (HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Manager, HR Director); or six years in an exempt level Specialist position: (Training & Development Specialist, Benefits Specialist, Recruiting Specialist, Employee Relations Specialist); or seven years in a non-exempt HR position (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator).
An instructional program designed to integrate on-campus study with practical hands-on work experience.
