Designing and Presenting Instruction - Grades 4-12

Course Description

This course prepares the teacher candidate to identify and use resources available for planning, and designing interactive TEKS-based lessons with an emphasis on specific content methodology. In addition, the course addresses assessment of the child’s learning and communicating of the child’s progress to parents. Each candidate will plan and teach three micro teaches which will be critiqued. (30 clock hours of field based experiences are required – 15 clock hours of teacher observations and 15 clock hours of student interactions.)
