This course focuses on pattern, fabric selection, garment industry technique, pressing skills, time saving technologies and techniques. Projects will be discussed in class. Note: for the in person class, a sewing machine will be available for use in class.

Skills development for professional personnel practicing in critical care units, emergency departments, and paramedic ambulances. Establishes a system of protocols for management of the patient experiencing cardiac difficulties. Meets the American Heart Association requirements for ACLS provider course. Participants who successfully complete the course receive an AHA ACLS Provider card. Course materials will be mailed to registered participants a minimum of one week prior to course. Registration deadline is one week prior to the first class day. Lunch is not provided. Approved for 16 nursing and TDH-P contact hours. Prerequisite: Knowledge and skills associated with basic CPR. This course is intended for those who have knowledge of essential verb tenses and basic vocabulary. Students will engage in guided small-group conversations, using Brazilian cultural vocabulary and important grammar aspects of the language.
