Requirements Analysis, Planning, and Review

Course Description

This course enables business analysts to analyze requirements information that has been elicited, to ensure the requirements are consistent and address all aspects of the business needs for a project or organization change initiative. During in-class exercises and homework, participants practice using the most common analysis techniques in use today. Participants also learn to estimate and plan a project's requirements work, track progress of requirements implementation, review requirements with stakeholders, and manage changes in scope throughout a project. Participants learn requirements life cycles for both classic and agile development. Participants learn how to select requirements documentation to review, identify the roles and responsibilities of reviewers, and perform reviews. All books and materials are included in the fees. Suggested Prerequisite: Completion of BMGT 2071 Requirements Elicitation and Documentation.
